Wedding Catamaran Cruise – Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Amanda and William were looking for a something a little different for their wedding. Family and friends joined them on a catamaran cruising off the beautiful coast of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.  The ceremony was held on the Catamaran’s spacious deck which was decorated with blue silk and white orchids. Everyone was thrilled when they encountered a pod of dolphins frolicking in the ocean.  Cupcakes and champagne took the place of a traditional wedding cake.  It was the perfect day to relax, swim and snorkel. The party ended with dancing into the sunset.

Let’s do something a little bit different!

Would you like your wedding to be a little bit different? I imagine you do, if you are thinking about getting married in Costa Rica, you must be just a little adventurous!

Your wedding can be as classical or as different as you would like to make it. Think about different ways to use decorations that will make your wedding unique. Using local products is also an interesting way to bring some of the local art and culture into your wedding.

A wonderful way to make things a little bit different is with signs. Signs have become quite popular in the last year or so. but what you write on them is unique to you! They also make great photos. Look at this adorable flower girl, using the sign to introduce the bride to her Uncle.

“Cruise of a LIFETIME!”
Reviewed March 9, 2013
With the very talented help of Randy Gritz from Celebrations Costa Rica  wedding planning we planned our dream-come-true wedding and reception on the Tom Cat II catamaran in Costa Rica. Randy is well connected with a 4 star network of vendors to suite every couples’ tastes and budgets. She helped us select the best hair/makeup artist, florist, photographer,  catamaran company, van transportation, and bakery for our wedding. The  lawyer/officiant she referred to us was wonderful – she gave us an  incredible selection of readings/blessings/poems to chose from to craft  our ceremony and delivered a very touching and beautiful ceremony. We  couldn’t have been happier with the meaningful and spiritual service she provided. We genuinely feel Randy went the extra mile for us in  assisting with all wedding details – I am still so touched by how she  had very tastefully (and within our budget) had the catamaran decorated  with draped cloth, flowers, and ribbons. The boat – as well as  everything else – was very elegant and festive. The catamaran crew were  EXCELLENT – professional, very accommodating and so fun and friendly -  they were wonderful to have with us on our wedding day! The kabob chef  was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more and would not have changed a thing. Randy was a pleasure to work with – she was always very open and receptive to our requests and kept us within our budget (never pushing  us out of our financial comfort zone or making us feel we needed to  spend or buy additional items we did not want.) The whole wedding was  planned via email in which Randy proved to be very attentive to my  messages, as well as considerate and thorough in all her  correspondences. Randy took the stress out of getting married and put us at total ease. Her rates seem quite fair and I would recommend her to  anybody tying the knot in Costa Rica. With Randy’s expert management and professional experience our wedding was perfect – absolutely flawless.  We are so grateful to Randy for making our wedding day an incredible experience and unbelievable memory, for not only us, but our guests as well.

How about a Beach Elopement in Costa Rica?

Your idea for your wedding was “Beautiful, Intimate and Simple”?
A wedding..SIMPLE! I can hear you chuckling…..well it really can simple and unforgettable with a beach elopement in Costa Rica.

You can pick from one of the hundreds of beautiful beaches in Costa Rica and use that as a stunning backdrop. On the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica the sun normally set over the water, you really can’t beat that for your wedding photographs.

Other then that it an be as simple as you want it to make.
Elopement at Langosta BeachIn this Beach Elopement, that I recently planned in Playa Langosta, besides the Bride and Groom, the only extras were a bouquet, boutonniere, officiate and witnesses. The couples found it a wonderfully intimate experience, as we were the just about the only people on the beach. They did decide to hire a photographer to so that they could share this amazing day with all their friends and family at home.

Now all YOU need to do is pick a dress!

Vow Renewal Manuel Antonio Beach Costa Rica

When my phone rang the last thing I expected to hear was, “I’m bringing my wife Krista to Costa Rica on vacation. We’ve been married over 10 years and I’m going to surprise her by renewing our vows”  It’s not often a groom contacts me about a vow renewal.

They were staying at the Discovery Beach House in Manuel Antonio on gorgeous Espadilla Beach with one of the prettiest tropical rain forests in all of Costa Rica as a backdrop. The setting was amazingly romantic.

Seating cards using a signature cocktail

Here’s a tip for combining your signature cocktail with a seating card.  Using various liquors and/or food coloring your can make the signature cocktail match your wedding decor.  Attach your seating card with table assignment to the bottom of the glass. If you have non drinkers use a different color type or a flower to differentiate the glass.  Bottoms Up!

Amanda and Christian – Playa Grande Wedding in Guanacaste

Amanda and Christian had their intimate ceremony on Playa Grande in Guanacaste. The location of their rented villa allowed them to walk out their back door right on to the beach. They passed through a garden and Amanda made large pom poms to place in the trees on the path. It added an amazing touch walking through the forest before reaching the beach and the ceremony. They were serenaded by a trio of musicians. The wedding colors featured tangerine, fuchsia and white. Bamboo poles with orchids and lilies created the ceremony space. The guests moved to the reception at Bula Bula.
